👀 Profile: Phil from Skills with Phil
I first stumbled on Phil on Seth’s bike hacks channel. He’s a really cool dude, and and former professional racer that uses his channel to teach mountain bike skills to both beginners and advanced riders. In the video bellow he’s helping out Seth pimp his backyard bike park - Berm Creek and in the process explains a lot about how jumps work. Also, check out his other content on his YouTube Channel.
🗺 Places: Madeira & the Trans-Madeira Race
The Trans-Madeira Race is an annual race across - you guessed it: Madeira. The race is open to the public, and even though 2019 is sold out, you can still join the waiting list, in case someone drops out. This video captures last year’s race, talking to the participants, and showing off the beauty that is Madeira.

In 2016 YT introduced their Jeffsy bike line with a unconventional campaign #IHATEJEFFSY. But this year, it looks like they have outdone themselves by hiring the services of Christopher Walken and his dramatic pep talk about friendship. Check it out:
