🍂Welcome to November! As many of you might, I’m enjoying the last weeks of good riding weather and hoping they last just a little bit longer. More so, because I still want to squeeze in a trip to Mala Fatra, a picturesque range in the heart of Slovakia to ride this little gem.
But back to this issue: This week I really enjoyed Outside’s profile of Casey Brown - a trailblazer in women’s mountain biking. If you need an inspiration for your spring trip, read up on biking in the Basque Country. And Seth from Seth’s Bike Hacks has a feature on building flow trails, that made me realize how much effort goes into building and maintaining them.

⛏ How are flow trails built?
I never realized how much work goes into building a flow trail system. This video by Seth’s Bike Hacks explains why. Besides the fact that there are people out there that spend their days building trails for a living, it turns out it is a long process requiring rough as well as precision work. Go check out how these people bring us the trails we love to ride!
